About your pickleball coach

In less than a year, Amanda went from a novice pickleball player to a pickleball pro – and you can too! Amanda has 900+ hours of coaching experience and has taught over 1,000 people how to play pickleball. She is PCI, RPO, RPPk/DUPR L2 and SafeSport certified. Amanda’s sweet spot for teaching is beginners and advanced beginners who want to move up to intermediate and advanced play, including tennis players new to pickleball. With Amanda's guidance, you can expect not only valuable insights and quick tips to enhance your performance and win more points, but also to have a lot of fun in the process. If needed, sessions can also incorporate a focus on reviewing and mastering the fundamentals since a strong foundation is essential for long-term improvement in pickleball. To top it off, Amanda is also a great listener, so pickleball lessons will always be tailored to your goals and needs. About Amanda: Outside of pickleball, Amanda is a former finance executive, with an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern), a BA in Art History from Barnard (Columbia), and her CFA. She’s also an aspiring song writer and author.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBy the end of the lesson, you'll be equipped with pickleball rules, scoring, and basic shots, so you'll have all the tools you need to play a game of pickleball.
Lesson 11+We’ll cover strategy: how to anticipate the next ball, where to be on the court, and which shots to hit when and where. By the time we're done, you'll be ready for intermediate play!
Lesson 4-10We’ll do a deep dive on the fundamentals. You’ll learn and practice mechanics for each shot: drops, dinks, backhands, drives, serves, returns, and volleys.
Lesson 2-3You’ll learn “quick tips” to help you improve quickly and win more games off the bat.

Cancellation Policy

We totally understand that life can be unpredictable and plans might change. That's why we've got your back with our flexible cancellation policy, designed to give you peace of mind when booking private sports lessons with our awesome local instructors!

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
