About your pickleball coach
I'm a dedicated tournament medalist, fueled by a profound passion for the game. As a PPR Certified coach, I find joy in both my own gameplay and nurturing new talents through sharing my expertise. I've been coaching for 3 years and adapt your style of play to the technical aspects of the game. If you want to improve your technique and game, I can help you no matter what your level is. When given group lessons, I prefer to keep it at 4, but will go as high as 8. I individualize every lesson for every student based on what they express they want to learn.

Very fortunate to have Barry as our coach. We were 4 completely new players that had never picked up a paddle.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBegin with the basics, court position and dinking directly across from you.
Lesson 4-10Begin to learn the techniques of serving and transition up to the No volley Zone other wise known as the kitchen line, and bring into this lesson the earlier lessons. After learning how to serve and transition to the kitchen line, now learn how to return a serve and transition to the kitchen line while reviewing and practicing previous learn techniques/skills. Continues lessons to refine previously taught skills/techniques and bring in what the client wants to learn and start the process over. Most importantly, stress practice and drilling will help to increase your skill proficiency.
Lesson 2-3Continue the basics, plus cross court dinking. Lesson 3 returning a ball from the transition zone and proper positioning .

Have good tennis shoes, bring fluids to stay hydrated and a towel for the sweat. Visor, or baseball hat, sunscreen if you burn.
