Oh, so the lesson focused on playing half court singles, and honestly, it was quite helpful. Craig explained some strategic positioning that I hadn’t really thought about before, and I feel more confident about shot placement now. Though I still need to work on my court awareness, I’m optimistic about applying what I learned next time. If you’re interested in improving specific aspects of your pickleball, it might be worth trying a lesson with him.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe initial lesson is design to get the player comfortable playing pickleball. Intro to: serving, returning, volleying… basic walkthrough of the rules by playing points
Lesson 2-3Continue working on the fundamentals to help the player have success playing points. Additional instruction on proper grip and footwork
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonInitial lesson starts with a discussion of the player’s pickleball goals and the reasons for booking a lesson. Usually will focus on enhancing 1-2 skills per hour. Preferably ending the lesson with 15 minutes of instructed play
Lesson 2-3Lessons are tailored to the player’s age and level and align with overall Pickleball goals… includes video analysis.
Footwork, balance, strategy and tactics, positioning,
single skill improvement: ex: 5 types of forward-hand volleys depending on ball flight, ball position, player position, opponent position 
Youth players
Working with kidsFun Lessons designed specifically for kids to have success with a paddle or racket… players start with nerf red dot balls
Working with teenagersHa….walk-through of the different strategies teens can use to put up with parents who played Pickleball (not applicable for grandparents)
