About your pickleball coach
My coaching philosophy is simple: every session should be as enjoyable as it is instructive, no matter your skill level. I take pride in introducing newcomers to the world of pickleball and relish in the opportunity to elevate the game for those looking to step up their play. I've had the pleasure of teaching with the fantastic team at Reaxn Pickleball, right at the Burbank Tennis Center, as well as various other Rec Centers. My goal is always the same – to make sure that fun and improvement go hand in hand for everyone. So, whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or aiming to dominate the court, I'm here to make it happen. Let's dive into this journey together!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI go over almost everything. If you’ve never played before I’ll slow it down a bit. But hopefully we’re able to get you into a very short game by the end of class.
Lesson 4-10We build on your skill levels and start working strategy.
Lesson 2-3Drilling shots and learning drops and drives and bettering your serve.
That’s the best way to improve, but the fun is playing, so I always try to end with 15 minutes of play.
What you need to bringBring a fun attitude. Dress to move and to keep warm if it’s chilly outside. Stretch your calves, hamstrings, back, hips, neck and arms before showing up or ask me for stretches and we can take a little time on stretching.
What I can bringI have lots of paddles for you to try out. You don’t need to bring anything, just dress to move. If new to the sport, I definitely suggest not getting a paddle till after your first lesson.
