The lesson with Jake was quite helpful, especially practicing the correct stance and paddle follow through for backhand shots, which I found pretty useful. Though I still need to drill down on different shots to build muscle memory and strength, the focus on technique really stood out. I appreciate that he kept the lesson grounded and realistic. Still, I’m hopeful that with more practice, I’ll see even steadier improvement. If you want someone who pays attention to your key fundamentals, Jake’s worth trying out.

One of the most helpful parts of the lesson with Jake was realizing how footwork affects the backhand pop up. Understanding proper positioning really made a difference. Jake's lesson was quite effective. He took the time to understand my starting point and tailored the session accordingly, which I appreciated. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI typically will evaluate your skills and level to see where we should start.
Lesson 11+In these lessons, we will be focusing on refining your skills and strategies and getting in repetition to be consistent and being able to place balls where they need to go to be the most effective. I’ll also give you drills that you can work on to improve your game. 
Lesson 4-10These lessons will be refining the third shot and fourth shot. We will work on being able to play against bangers or power players. We will also be working on strategies, techniques and court positioning..
Lesson 2-3I typically i’m going to teach the first three shots which is the serve, return and third shot.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson is basically figuring out what level you are currently at and what skills you need to work on.
Lesson 11+In these lessons we will be working on specific drills to improve your game and overall confidence and consistency.
Lesson 4-10 During these lessons we will be looking to refine your overall skills will be working on third shot drops, third shot drives, volleys, dinks, fire fights, transition, court positioning, drills to improve, etc…
Lesson 2-3Once I understand what level you are and what skills you need to work on, we will work on certain drills to improve your overall performance.
Youth players
Working with kidsI definitely love working with kids. They are the future of the game. I have taught many kids on beginner level and advanced in private lessons and group lessons actually started my Pickle Ball coaching teaching kids. I believe the number one thing is making sure they have fun and love the game.
Working with teenagersI love teaching teenagers because they can pick up skills very quickly. They are the future of pickleball and l love to teach them. Pickleball is such a great sport to learn early and I believe will be in every High school and college in the near future. Pickle on!
What you need to bringBring a pickleball paddle if you have one. Also, always bring drink to stay hydrated. I will have everything else.
What I can bringIf you don’t have a paddle. Just let me know and I can supply them.
