I started taking group lessons with Jim about 8 months ago. He was the one who really taught me the basics of pickleball in the beginning and it really caught my eye. Eventually I started taking private lessons which benefited me a lot on the courts. His private lessons are geared for your pickleball level. Jim has a very calm outlook of the game and really helps to calm the frustrations. His attitude overall defines his play and is really helpful when he coaches. Especially for me because I am hard on myself when I mess up shots. I would highly recommend Jim as your coach and I will continue going to lessons with him.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will work on dinking, serving and receiving and understanding the basics of the game.
Lesson 11+We will have you keeping proper score and knowing all rules without any hesitation. We will hone in on your kitchen play and shot location as well as focusing on strategy.
Lesson 4-10After playing a few weeks, we will determine your strengths and weaknesses and focus on those areas.
We will also play some full games to build experience.
Lesson 2-3For lessons two and three we will focus on shot placement and working in and around the kitchen for accuracy as well as deep shots.
What you need to bringBring lots of water and a paddle if you have one. Please wear courts shoes or athletic shoes that you are comfortable moving around in.
