Jamie asked me to write a review and I almost don’t want to because my boys and I would prefer to keep her a secret! We don’t want everyone finding out about her and losing our time with her. Of course, this is well deserved. My two younger boys take pickleball lessons with Jamie and absolutely love it. She makes it fun and competitive and the improvement in both of them has been incredible to watch them. What you may not know is that Jamie also gives tennis lessons, and shed a truly exceptional tennis coach. My oldest son is a teenager and a serious tennis player who wants to compete in regional tournaments and ultimately wants to play college tennis. Jamie has been working with him for 2 years now. Her background as a Division I player and nationally ranked junior really shows and helps us navigate these qualifiers and tournaments for John. She is an elite, pro-level player and has helped our son transform his game. John plays with Jamie 6-7 days a week. She’s a tough coach who can work this well with three boys of different ages, ability levels, and even different sports. We feel very lucky to have Jamie as part of our sports family. -Jason

My son James has been working with Jamie for quite a while now and we’ve made lessons a regular part of his schedule. James plays with her Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and we’ve been on this schedule fairly consistently since January. James plays at Jamie’s outdoor private court, which is awesome and makes it really easy. They’re great together. He started as a beginner with Jamie and has advanced to an intermediate junior player. The improvement in his game has been pretty impressive. Jamie teaches fundamentals, technique, and strategy. She keeps him moving and drilling so he’s never just standing around listening to instruction. Jamie is also an elite player and knows the game inside and out. James is going to start playing junior pickleball tournaments in the fall and Jamie will continue to coach him through it. I would absolutely recommend her, especially if you have a kid who wants to learn pickleball and play competitively. Jamie is awesome!
Scottie, Fourth, Georgie
I am providing a review on behalf of my children, Scottie, Fourth, and Georgie. Our kids have been taking lessons with Jamie since March, and we could not have asked for a better introduction to pickleball for the kids. We’ve continued booking Jamie about every other week because the kids just LOVE pickleball and lessons with Jamie so much! She has been incredibly patient with them (bless her heart!) and she keeps them engaged and having fun while still teaching them and improving their game. She explains things easily so they understand, and I just can’t believe how good they’ve gotten! It’s been so rewarding to watch them play and get better, and I get to leave them for a few hours! They’re always so excited to get on the court and are becoming more confident in their development. I can’t say enough great things about Jamie. I would recommend her to everyone. I think she’s the best Pickleball coach you could find in Nashville - she’s a GEM - and the most skilled! And we LOVE to play at Jamie’s private pickleball court in Forest Hills! It’s so easy and completely private, and it’s a BEAUTIFUL home and property! I highly recommend Jamie! -Jordan
Scarlett
I’m writing this review for my daughter, Scarlett, who started taking pickleball lessons with Jamie as a beginner. She absolutely loved her lessons! We started out thinking we would just do a few so she could learn how to play, but she enjoyed Jamie so much that we’ve kept going and now she sees her regularly. Jamie is so patient and encouraging and keeps things fun while actually teaching her a TON. I have been amazed at how much Scarlett has improved and how much FUN she’s having on the court. We’ve brought along a few of Scarlett’s friends to join her lessons with Jamie and that’s been a ball for Scarlett and her friends! Scarlett comes home wanting to practice what Jamie taught her against our home backboard and is always asking when she gets to go back and play! Jamie is incredibly talented herself, but she also has a gift for teaching and helping the kids feel comfortable. I would recommend her to any parent looking for someone to teach their child pickleball! We adore her!! Betsy

I cannot say enough good things about Jamie! I am a total beginner. Jamie made me feel so comfortable and we have had so much fun. I originally thought I’d take a couple lessons just to learn the basics, but I’ve continued booking with her a few times per week because every time I go I learn something new and leave feeling like a better player. And my body is starting to transform. It is truly a total body workout! I think that’s what I love the most about it! She is patient, positive, incredibly knowledgeable and fun. And she can PLAY!! You should definitely book with Jamie and you’ll be glad you did. Oh and by the way, her private home court is absolutely beautiful and it’s so easy and there’s so much privacy. It’s in the best location too so that’s a huge bonus and makes it super easy for us to get together. Thousand stars for JJ!
Andrew
I wouldn’t say I’m an expert per se (yet) but I’m an advanced player, and I play competitively at 5.0. I was looking for someone to work with and needed more than someone who could feed me balls. I needed someone at my level to actually play with me and challenge me. Jamie absolutely can. I’ve been hitting with her regularly and her level is exceptional. The Division I tennis background shows immediately. Her hands, movement, pace, consistency and ability to control the ball are all there. We can play competitive points at a high level and she can also stop and pick apart something technical in my game that I need to work on. That combo is hard to find. If you’re already an advanced player and wondering whether Jamie can challenge you, the answer is a definitive yes. It’s been really fun and challenging playing with her, and I love playing at her private home court.
