Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will explain the basic rules of the game as well as the court layout. I will introduce you to dinking, serve and return of serve. You will have the confidence to play a full game after this class.
Lesson 11+I will introduce you to block volleying/resets and overhead shots.
Lesson 4-10We will work on bringing everything together and start working on controlling your shots.
Lesson 2-3I will introduce you to volleying (hitting the ball out of the air), footwork and groundstrokes.
What you need to bringPlease have plenty of water, eye protection and court shoes.
What I can bringI have paddles for you to try out and plenty of balls.
