About your pickleball coach
Job is a Certified Coach. He is one of Salt Lake City's best known Pickleball coaches and has helped many students improve their game. He is comfortable working with all ages and skill levels. Outside of coaching, Job has won several 5.0+ tournaments and is always looking for the next competition to prove his skills. He also has experience in attending and playing in PPA tournaments! He is a MBA graduate from the University of Utah and is proud to use his analytical skills to help his students understand the nuances of the game of Pickleball.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe start on learning the basics of Pickleball such as how to keep score and where to hit the ball. Then we work in form and technique on basic hits like serving and returning.
Lesson 11+Work on resets and talk more about strategy and increasing your hit ratio.
Lesson 4-10We can start talking about strategy and how to engage and block hard drives and speed-ups.
Lesson 2-3We move on to focuse more on technique and form on how to do drives, dinks and drops.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonHow to serve, drive and return effectively with both the forehand and two-handed backhand.
Lesson 11+How to mitigate unforced errors - specifically how to increase hit ratio on the first 5 shots of the rally as well as talk strategy and apply offensive and defensive strategies.
Keep reviewing what we have learned so far. Then drill and practice each shot so as to increasing the hit ratio on each shot.
Lesson 4-10How to move the ball around the kitchen and talk strategy within the kitchen. How to start a speedup and how to counter-act speedups at the kitchen as well as how to reset balls at the kitchen and midcourt.
Lesson 2-3How to dink and drop effectively with both the forehand and two-handed backhand.
Youth players
Working with kidsTeach and focuse on form and technique. Then play coaches games and fun drills.
Working with teenagersTeach and focuse on form and technique. Then play coaches games and fun drills.
