The lesson was pretty good, especially since we revisited some basics I’d already worked on and got clear answers to my questions. Though I still need to work on consistency, reinforcing previous concepts definitely added to my confidence. Johnathon is an exceptional instructor. He provided guidance and patience while teaching various skills that effectively helps the student learn. His has extensive knowledge and passion for the sport which helps in the learning experience. This was very motivating for me.
What you need to bringCourt shoes/cross trainers/anything with good lateral support, water/hydration, and sunblock.
What I can bringI supply a wide range of high-quality Selkirk paddles so students can try out current paddles at five different levels of performance as well as the new Owl “quiet” paddle so students can experience the cutting edge of “lower noise level” pickleball play.
I also supply high-quality outdoor pickleballs as well as bi-color pickleballs (for teaching spin) and the new Gamma “quiet” pickleballs so students can see how they play since some pickleball courts may start requiring them in the future due to noise issues.
I have mini-nets for teaching dinking in smaller spaces (need a 10’x20’ space) and full size nets for anywhere you’ve got a 25’x60’ space (large driveways, cul de sacs, etc).
