Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe start with the fundamentals: grip, ready position, court positioning, scoring, and basic shot mechanics. I’ll quickly assess your athletic background and tailor the lesson to your learning style. My goal is to build confidence while getting you rallying and having fun from day one.
Lesson 2-3We’ll reinforce the fundamentals while introducing dinks, volleys, serves, returns, transitions to the kitchen, and movement. Through game-based drills, you’ll begin developing consistency, confidence, and an understanding of smart shot selection.
Lesson 4-10These lessons focus on turning fundamentals into habits. We’ll improve consistency, footwork, court positioning, resets, drops, third-shot strategy, and doubles communication. Expect plenty of live-ball drills, point play, and personalized feedback to accelerate your progress.
Lesson 11+Training becomes fully customized to your goals. Whether you’re preparing for tournaments or simply looking to win more recreational games, we’ll refine strategy, decision-making, advanced shot selection, and mental toughness. Video analysis and match play may also be incorporated to maximize improvement.
Youth players
Working with kidsI create a positive, energetic environment where kids build confidence while learning proper fundamentals. Lessons are engaging, age-appropriate, and focused on fun through games and creative drills that develop coordination, athleticism, teamwork, and a love for pickleball.
Working with teenagersI combine technical instruction with competitive training to help teens elevate their game. Lessons focus on mechanics, strategy, footwork, shot selection, and match play while encouraging confidence, discipline, and smart decision-making. Whether their goal is recreation or tournament play, each lesson is tailored to their skill level and goals.
