About your pickleball coach

With six years of personal pickleball experience and a Level 1 PPR Pickleball Coaching certification coupled with experience as a junior high school pickleball coach, I offer tailored coaching for all skill levels. My ideal student(s) is one who is looking to "level up" their game. I offer one on one instructions or group of all age and skill levels. I utilize a Titan One ball machine for hitting sessions and also offer video recording of drill sessions with Ai shot analytics using the Swing Vision platform. A very popular program is 3 (or 4) and Me where I either watch and critique your match play in real time or even mix in during play to get advanced game strategies offered and critiqued. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI will send an introduction to Pickleball video prior to your 1st lesson that explains the equipment (ball & paddles), court dimensions, basics of the game, scoring, etc First Lesson Includes: - warmup (dynamic stretching) - paddle grip - ready position - swing mechanics - ball striking (swing path and paddle face orientation) - Review of all the types of shots, dinking, volleys, ground strokes, serves, returns, drops, resets and lobs.
Lesson 11+Match play basics: - shot selection & locations - standard shot pattern recognition - dinking strategies with cooperative partner court coverage responsibilities - drives and crashing the net - stacking strategies - Aggressive serves and serve strategies - Spins
Lesson 4-10We will progress into: - 3rd shot drops and drives - transition resets - drive / drop combo - 4th shot punch volleys & flicks
Lesson 2-3We will progress into repetitive ball striking as follows: - dinking at the non-volleyball zone - Serves & Returns - Volleys
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonIdeally I’d like to see some match play videos of your play so I can make suggestions on needed improvements in your game. First lesson will be a hitting session running through all the shots. Basically it will be a long warmup session with you and I hitting: - 50 dinks straight on, cross court forehand, cross court back hand - 10 + easy feed 3rd shot drops, 10-20 aggressive feed 4th shot from me to challenge your ability to drop - Up and backs from the base line easy and hard - transition zone resets - fast hand volleys at NVZ - serves and returns - Lobs and overheads that you should already be doing prior to your Rec play.
Lesson 11+Continuing with whatever weaknesses still exist.
Lesson 4-10Match play basics: - shot selection & locations - standard shot pattern recognition - dinking strategies with cooperative partner court coverage responsibilities - drives and crashing the net - stacking strategies - Aggressive serves and serve strategies - Spins

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
