About your pickleball coach

I am a high-level 4.4-rated pickleball player with strong skills in both doubles and singles. My background as a college lacrosse athlete and coach has given me a solid foundation in teaching and strategy, which I now bring to the pickleball court. I am excited to help beginners and intermediate players improve their game. I’ve already been teaching through referrals and requests from friends, and I look forward to helping more players develop their skills and love for pickleball!

I loved the new drills to develop my backhand and appreciated the direct, effective critiques from Kyle on foot position, paddle position, and shot selection. The lesson was fun and drills were easy to follow, which helped me improve quickly. If you’re looking to sharpen your pickleball skills, I highly recommend Kyle’s lessons!

Youth players
Working with kidsBasic motor skills and coordination Learning rules in a fun way Simple forehand, backhand, and serve technique Keeping sessions playful and engaging

Working with teenagersFor teenagers, the focus should be on developing solid fundamental skills like consistent strokes, quick footwork, and dinking, while introducing advanced techniques such as adding spin to serves and learning the third shot drop. Emphasize court positioning, shot selection, and game strategy to improve their overall play. Conditioning exercises for speed and strength, combined with drills that build mental toughness and confidence, will help them excel. Keep the sessions fun and engaging with competitive drills to maintain their interest and foster a love for the game.

What you need to bringPlease bring your paddle and tennis shoes.

What I can bringI will provide the balls and the net.
