Matt is an incredible instructor. He has deep knowledge and experience with the game and was immediately able to assess where I was in my pickleball journey and provide me guidance and skills building exercises. After one lesson I noticed an improvement and felt more confident as a player. I very much look forward to continuing to work with him.

Matt has a great demeanor and easy to work with. He is very accommodating with scheduling. His insight is great and noticed some technique flaws which really improved my consistency and game overall. I would highly recommend if you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced player looking to improve your game.

Mr. Ryan is a really great pickleball coach. He knew how to play pickleball really well and I really enjoyed playing long pickleball matches against him. Additionally, he brought many other players into our club, which meant I got to play against a variety of styles.

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids in Pickleball, keep sessions fun, fast-paced, and focused on fundamentals through games and repetition. Start each session with a dynamic warm-up and movement-based game to build coordination, followed by short skill-building segments like paddle control, dinks, serves, and groundstrokes, adjusted for age and ability. Use creative drills like “Kitchen Knockout” or “Serve the Target” to keep them engaged while learning court awareness and teamwork. Emphasize encouragement, communication, and basic strategy over strict technique, and always wrap up with a quick review, high fives, and a fun challenge they can try at home.

Working with teenagersWhen working with teenagers in Pickleball, focus on building strong fundamentals while introducing strategy, competitive gameplay, and teamwork. Keep sessions dynamic and challenging with structured drills that develop shot consistency, footwork, and court positioning. Teenagers respond well to game-based learning, so include point play, mini-tournaments, and scenario-based drills to keep them engaged. Encourage them to think tactically—when to attack, when to reset—and foster a positive, goal-oriented environment where they can improve, compete, and have fun

What you need to bringBring a paddle if you have one. I do have extras to lend as well. And bring a smile! That’s it. I’ll handle the rest!
