Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe learn footwork and basic pickleball skills like dinking, serving and returning especially rules of the game of pickleball. Learn different grips to hold paddle and its advantages.
Lesson 11+Learn to play defense and transitioning to the kitchen. Drop or drive for third shot. Speed up in kitchen. Work on keeping opponents back.
Lesson 4-10We learn more new skills and reinforce the basic skills from previous lesson. Introduce top spin and slice dinks and forehand. Drops from baseline and third shot drives.
Lesson 2-3Reinforce footwork serving returning. Introduce forehand and backhand.
