I'm pretty happy with the lesson. Michael was very helpful pointing out my mistakes and giving me good advice, which I appreciated though I still have some areas to improve. Still, I think I'll try another lesson to keep building on what I learned.

I had the pleasure of learning from an exceptional pickleball coach who taught me the fundamentals of dinking to learning the third drop shot. Each session was insightful and engaging. The coach's approach to 'the wall' drill, while very tiring, improved my reflexes. He emphasized the proper way to drive by hitting the ball flat and lifting it up for a top spin. I am sure he can teach me more strategies to better my game and boost my confidence.However, the four hours i budgeted for my training is over. It was money well spent with Mike as my coach.

Your first lesson**Before our first lesson, if you are unsure about the rules or have general questions. I HIGHLY recommend watching the following video! It'll save us some time π

Quickly assess your skill level and start with very fundamental techniques and progress through various drills as quickly or slowly as needed.
Lesson 4-10We do light warmups, which include fundamental drills from previous lessons. From the information we learn from the games played in the previous lessons. I will incorporate new drills that focus on needed areas of improvement and simulate actual game play. As well as discuss court strategies and placements.
Lesson 2-3Brief review of drills from our previous lesson and introduce new drills and focus on areas of needed improvement.
This is followed by actual game play in which we incorporate what we learned in drills.
Youth players
Working with kidsI have trained children as young as 8 years old and really keep them engaged as much as possible, making sure they have fun along the way.
Working with teenagersI do a number of drills to keep them engaged and talk to them, making sure it's enjoyable for them.
