Beginner training plan
Your first lessonPlayers get comfortable with the court, paddle grip, and ready position. They learn basic groundstrokes, serving technique, and how to rally in a fun, low-pressure way.
Lesson 11+Apply everything in live games with coaching feedback. Players refine strategy, communication, and shot selection, preparing for confident recreational or beginner tournament play.
Lesson 4-10Build net skills (volleys, lobs, overheads), third shot drops, and transition play. Learn defensive resets, serve/return variations, and doubles strategy. Players begin linking skills together for real-game situations.
Lesson 2-3Focus on serve and return consistency, footwork to the non-volley zone, and introducing the dink game. Players start controlling shots and understanding why soft play is important.
