As part of my ongoing coaching, Roberto suggested we participate in a game at my local pickleball court. It was a tremendous help! I appreciated seeing how a real game unfolds, which made things clearer. Though I still hope to better apply the coaching tips from last time, the lesson/session truly highlighted what playing in real time feels like and was quite helpful overall. If you're looking to get a better sense of the game, you might consider giving him a try.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonRules of the game and equipment explained.
Different type of shots, way of hitting the ball and touch/feel of the ball/paddle explained.
Lesson 4-10Playing together and start drilling on shots that need improvement. Backhand, drives, lobs and forehand shots.
Lesson 2-3Lots of dinking and playing skinny singles to work on your touch/feel of the ball and paddle. Try to play doubles so I can see where you need to improve and coach on the spot.
What you need to bringWater and tennis/pickleball shoes.
