Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor our first lesson we will focus on the basics. Serving techniques, rally play and score keeping.
Lesson 11+By this time we will have you playing full games to 11. We will have you keeping proper score and knowing all rules without any hesitation. Your gameplay at this point should be far past beginner level and you should not need much support from me and focusing on playing more challenging opponents
Lesson 4-10As I observe your development we will determine your strengths and weaknesses of your game. From there we will hone in on the aspects that need added support as well as play some full games to build experience.
Lesson 2-3For lessons two and three we will focus on placement of shots. Working in the kitchen for accuracy as well as deep shots in the back of the court to challenge opponents. As well as working on forehand and backhand shots for diversity of gameplay.
What you need to bringIf you want to buy your own paddle that suits your needs feel free to do so. Make sure you were proper court shoes/running shoes. Bring a water bottle, sunglasses and a hat if training in daylight.
What I can bringI have one paddle and four balls used for our training session that can be used by my student.
