About your pickleball coach
I am a former college athlete and grade school teacher. I began playing pickleball 6 years ago. My passion for pickleball and teaching led me to become a pickleball instructor. I love playing and I have found that I love teaching pickleball the same! I am certified through IPTPA as an instructor and have been actively teaching beginner to advanced intermediate level pickleball for 2 years. I am currently working in Houston with an amazing pickleball pro! Whether you are just interested in learning how to play or wanting to develop your skills to take your game to the next level, I would love to help you with your goals and have a great time in the process.

Stephanie was my pickleball coach and I attribute her patient and clear instructions to help me adapt from tennis playing to pickleball playing. She worked with me on control vs powering through all my shots. When I play now, I can still hear her say “calm down” & “don’t death grip your racquet, use a 3-4 out of 10 grip on the racquet”. I loved her drills especially the ones at the kitchen line working on quick reactions. If you’re new to pickleball or need additional work on your game, I highly recommend Stephanie!!

We are starting up a new senior active living pickleball club. Stephanie came out to do a one day training as people came in and off the courts. Stephanie was very patient with us, explaining some of the fundamentals and techniques in serving and hitting the ball. She was very affirming and encouraging to beginners and had the expertise to evaluate and help a couple of our intermediate players. We have invited her back to do a formal clinic with our club.

I have co-taught with Steph on numerous occasions. She is very knowledgeable, always upbeat and positive and with kids has the magic touch. She knows the game well but can also simplify and break down the mechanics as well as the game strategy. I love playing with Steph as she if fun to be around as well as very competitive. As a pickleball instructor she is excellent and you would be lucky to have her for students of all ages.

Stephanie was a wonderful instructor. We are a group of different ages and PB skill levels. She design her classes to cover all of these differences. She showed us practice drills we could take away to continue fine tuning the skills she taught us. She is extremely personable and qualified.
