Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI briefly explain the history of pickleball
And then explain the court and quickly start paddle and ball warm up exercises.
Lesson 2-3Beginners will quickly learn the names of fundamental shots and paddle use along with forehand and backhand shots and safe footwork along with short fun drills to help understand the game and how to use shots.
Lesson 4-10Continuing on fundamentals of the game, understanding simple rules and court positioning for serving and receiving. Always enjoying practice games to solidify everything taught in the lessons.
Lesson 11+Fun drills to improve skills and understanding of games. Lots of games to practice the skills learned with guidance during the game play.
What you need to bringMake sure to wear comfortable court shoes and dress for the weather if outdoors! Always bring something to drink to rehydrate and safety glasses are recommended.
