About your reading and writing coach
I am a 25-year ELA educator. I spent the majority of my career in a 8th grade ELA classroom/middle school campus. I can say without hesitation that I LOVE being a middle school educator. I am a lifelong learner/education advocate who prioritizes authentic relationships with students. I believe in hands-on, interactive, engaging instruction geared towards the needs and interest of students. My strength is my ability to use creative ways to teach all components of ELA, especially writing.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe will begin with a conversation and overview of needs of whomever is being tutored! We will then discuss the specific subject/topic that will be our focus, and create a plan together for future sessions.
Lesson 2-3We will dive into the subject area so that we can pinpoint areas of strength and weaknesses and adjust plan as needed.
Lesson 4-10We will continue to build our tutorial routine and solidify some procedures and expectations.
Lesson 11+We will have solidified our procedures and expectations and hopefully be seeing positive results!
