I've been working with Daniela Finley for the past couple of months, and she does not disappoint! This year I decided that I wanted to get back into training my voice, since I haven't had proper training in 7 years, and because I'm a working actor who would like to get back into the musical world again. Since working with Daniela I've grown more confident in my voice again! She really helped me with find my range, that was buried away for years, understand the importance of taking care of my voice, and really created a warm and nurturing environment that really made me relax. Every lesson with Daniela I always unlock things that I never knew my voice could do and grow more confident. Daniela has a deep understanding of the mechanics of the voice and broke down concepts in a clear and understandable way. I originally went with Daniela because of her extensive background in musical theater, but she also has knowledge in various musical styles also to cater to diverse musical interests, so I got to explore more different genres other than musicals. She also took the time to understand my strengths, weaknesses, and musical aspirations, and then designed a list of songs that challenged and supported growth, along with songs of my choosing. Also, Daniela has taught me that singing goes beyond technical proficiency. She's given me guidance on performance preparation, helping me really connect emotionally with the songs and how to engage with the audience. The studio is really cool and cozy. We practice in a vocal booth, so it really gives me a chance to let loose and do my thing. I'm happy I made the right decision by taking this step in my singing journey and can't wait to see where it takes me. Thank you so so much Daniela Finley for being an amazing instructor and mentor!

I have been doing vocal lessons with Daniela since November 2022, and they have been the best part of my week for the last 1.5 years. Initially, I was looking for a way to decompress from the busyness of work whilst also improving my voice (mostly for fun/as a hobby). The lessons have honestly far exceeded all of my expectations and continue to do so! I wouldn't consider myself a natural talent, nor someone with rhythm, but my voice and understanding of music/timing has improved significantly since starting, which is really exciting to see. The lessons are fun; Daniela is sweet, knowledgeable, and goofy - and very good at making you feel comfortable. Daniela can attest, I was very nervous and 'in my head' at the beginning, but she helped make me feel at ease, and it's no longer an issue. Daniela also has this superpower of being able to tell when I'm feeling off and caters the lessons to support where I am at that day (emotionally, health-wise, etc). I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Turns out that with regular training, anyone can sing! Daniela was great at helping me understand that my voice is an instrument and that it can be tuned to make all sorts of sounds (something I didn't even know existed until these highly-informative lessons!). As a very quiet and shy child, I'd never made half the sounds that I've now made in this little room. My public speaking has improved also! Daniela has been great at tailoring song suggestions to my voice, but also pushing me to the edge of my comfort zone in a highly nurturing and encouraging way. She's incredibly nurturing, fun, enthusiastic and interested in you as a person. And she mirrors you where you're at - which is the definition of a good coach. It's clear that Daniela's experience is deeply ingrained and that she's genuinely passionate about what she does, it comes through in every single lesson.

From the first meeting I had with Daniela Finley I instantly felt comfortable, secure and welcomed to share with her my story and where I aspire my singing voice to be in the future. She takes you in her kind arms and has an equal desire as you to get the very best out of you and your vocals. Her consistency to push me, guide me and simply be there during challenges and accomplishments is what makes Daniela an incredible teacher. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything I have learnt and I am proud to say that where I am with my confidence, technique and vocal skills has a lot to do with my training from Daniela! I had lessons with Daniela and It has unlocked so much confidence and creativity inside me that I hadn't even expected would happen. I just wanted to have the lessons to work on my voice but it was so much more than that. Daniela is so intuitive in her lessons. She was able to read my vibe and hear my voice to suggest songs out of my comfort zone that would challenge me but would be so enjoyable to sing. I always left my lessons with her so Inspired and gradually this gave me more confidence in my own creative abilities to then wanting to learn to play a musical instrument along side improving my voice. I would highly recommend lessons with Daniela

I have been having lessons with Daniela for a few months, and I am sure that my singing has changed in the best sense. I wanted to make my voice stronger, to control it better and to become more confident, not only for signing but for the everyday life too - I believe that I have made a great progress with many thanks to Daniela. She is extremely supportive, and at the same time goal-oriented. Daniela taught me helpful techniques and created a safe environment to try something new, she played all songs which I suggested as I wanted to learn them. I appreciate all the efforts and support which I have received from Daniela.
