A musical performance virtuoso with a classical foundation laid from a very early age. Beginning performances at six, I've evolved into a multifaceted artist, writing, recording, and performing songs for major league sports franchises. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will be introductory. We take time to figure out what your goals and aspirations are with your singing. Then we’ll do a quick evaluation of your vocal range and see what we need to work on to get you where you want be from a vocal perspective.
Lesson 4-10By lesson four, we should be able to begin working on songs you’d like to learn and determine whether or not they are within your vocal comfort zone/range. We’ll spend a little time discussing what works best for you and determine where your strengths are and focus on those, while doing our best to recognize weaknesses and address them so that you can gain confidence, poise and precision with your vocal performances.
Lesson 2-3During our second lesson, we’ll explore a bit deeper into your vocal range and determine if you’ve accidentally picked up any vocal habits that we may or may not need to address.
We will begin some vocal exercises and warm up techniques which should improve your ear and get your vocal cords more relaxed to begin strengthening them.
Youth players
Working with kidsI’m an in-school music teacher by trade so, working with kids is nothing new to me.
Working with teenagersWith teens it’s a bit different as they have so many different genres that they are being influenced by. We’ll need to do some assessments and see where they are at vocally to determine their range and comfort zones.
What you need to bringJust themselves and a water bottle. If they have sheet music they’d like to learn, we can go off that as well.
What I can bringI have a small in-home recording studio set up with mics, keyboard, guitars and digital recording software.
