About your singing coach
With over 25 years of performance experience and direct client interaction, and now 4 years of teaching voice, I’ve worked with students ages 7 to 70 — from brand-new beginners to seasoned singers. I specialize in helping singers build confidence, improve pitch accuracy, bridge transitions, and shine with strong stage presence. I also enjoy teaching beginner piano by ear as a creative foundation. My Voice Instructor training includes Voicercise in Clearwater and John Henny’s Voice School. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonEstablish a rapport, lessons overview, introduction to the voice instrument, vocal diagnostic, choosing a song of students choice to focus on.
Lesson 11+Continuing to develop vocal control, sound quality, dynamics, stage presence, confidence and more.
Lesson 4-10Depending on students level of progress, we will explore more advanced skills to develop their own unique sound as well as potentially some deeper work on vocal confidence if needed.
Lesson 2-3Developing vocal control, pitch accuracy and muscle coordinations based on determined areas of need/focus.
Youth players
Working with kidsVoice lessons for kids age 7+ are mainly focused on fun and developing a love for music. Beginning piano skills are included. 30 minute lessons are suggested.
Working with teenagersLesson focus for teens is often centered around confidence building and having fun with the music that they most enjoy. I have a knack for creating a quick, comfortable rapport with young people.
