Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, to break the ice I’d like to ask a few questions about your interest in vocal lessons, music, and your experience in singing. From there, we’d begin a warm up where a small evaluation will take place to determine your range, dynamic performance, and overall vocal strength.
Lesson 11+We’d continue shaping the voice through vocal exercises and other techniques.
Lesson 4-10With an established a routine, we’d do fun challenges like singing excerpts that test your vocal skills, learning long form pieces and phrasing.
Lesson 2-3We can expect to warm up at every lesson, continuing to increase confidence and comfortability. We’d begin choosing songs to listen to and learn, ultimately practicing performance etiquette.
