Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBy teaching them the basics of soccer (passing , throwing , dribbling , transitions, set piece and many more), the importance of safety while playing and importance of fair play . Also the need to work together as a team .
Lesson 11+At this stage the player would have learned and understand their designated position in soccer , also acquiring the possible skills to perform well in that playing position .
Lesson 4-10The beginner at this stage would have been able to understand and learned the basics of the game , also learnt how to pass the ball efficiently and effectively with proper direction, how to control the ball , how to play long pass , pass and receiving short passes
Lesson 2-3A beginner can expect to know the necessity or importance of match fitness in the game , which brings us to how cone works can help gain certain level of match fitness , working off the ball and on the ball
Youth players
Working with kidsChildren learn best when they have fun so it’s important to incorporate games and fun activities into a soccer lessons . This may include small sided games, practicing skills in a creative way and challenges to keep children engaged and motivated
Working with teenagersA quality training environment encourages creativity and decision making. As a coach it is important to provide a safe playing environment for teenagers in other to enable them feel comfortable and enjoy playing soccer .
