In our first session, I’ll introduce the basics in a fun and supportive way while assessing the player’s comfort with the ball. The goal is to build trust, confidence, and excitement for learning soccer.
At this stage, players will continue to strengthen their foundation while being introduced to more game like scenarios at their pace. The focus is on confidence, enjoyment, and preparing them to feel comfortable joining recreational or competitive soccer.
Once the basics are more consistent, I’ll guide players through slightly more challenging activities that introduce teamwork concepts, simple decision making, and agility. Training will remain fun but encourage steady progress with each session.
These sessions will focus on core fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, ball control, and simple movement patterns. I’ll use engaging drills and games to keep learning enjoyable while reinforcing proper technique.
In our first session, I’ll evaluate the player’s technical skills, fitness level, and game awareness through various drills. This assessment helps create a customized plan to target specific strengths and areas for improvement.
At this stage, training will be fully individualized, preparing the player for peak performance in competitive environments. Focus areas will include advanced tactics, mental toughness, and polishing the details that separate good players from elite ones.
Training will progress to high-intensity, game-realistic drills that challenge decision-making, creativity, and adaptability. Sessions will emphasize competing at speed, applying skills in small-sided scenarios, and raising overall performance standards.
These sessions will sharpen core technical skills under pressure, with a focus on first touch, speed of play, and advanced ball mastery. Players will also begin position-specific training to refine their tactical understanding.
