Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst I want to get to know whoever I’m trying to teach, we bond a little while getting to know their skill level. The first lesson just depends on their skill level. For a beginner I would like to work on dribbling proficiently and trying to dribble with the outside of their foot.
Lesson 11+We focus on perfecting everything we’ve learned and we always remember, next play!
Lesson 4-10From lessons 4-10 we will learn the more complicated parts of soccer. Build up their soccer IQ, and their field presence. We will work on simple and more complicated skills to get past a defender. we will work on separate scenarios and what to do next.
Lesson 2-3on lessons 2-3 we work on passing the ball perfectly whether it’s 5 feet away or 30 feet away. We will work on passing and receiving the ball. We will also work on our shooting form, we get it right and then we move onto shooting power
Youth players
Working with kidsI have been training my younger cousins as well as my younger brother my whole life so I wouldn’t have to adapt to age, more like i’d have to adapt to their skill levels.
Working with teenagersSince I’m still not that old, I would talk to them more like peers but also as someone they should look up to. I was always captain everywhere I played, including high school, which meant I was always coaching up people younger than me. It’s a process, but I would say I’m fairly good with it
