Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lessons will always be an initial assessment to see where they are at. I want to focus on the foundations of passing, dribbling, close control, agility, and stamina/cardio.
Lesson 11+These lessons integrate all foundational skills into multi-task exercises aimed at integrating personal skills into the team picture.
Lesson 4-10These lessons build off of passing by introducing close control, intelligent ball use through passing and dribbling, and minimal shooting.
Lesson 2-3These lessons are focused on passing and agility. I introduce minimal mental exercises.
Youth players
Working with kidsI focus on creating a silly, goofy, but effective atmosphere where confidence can grow. Children need to be comfortable to be confident, and that's where growth on the ball happens.
What you need to bringA water bottle, cleats, shinguards! Bring a ball if you would like, but I have my own set we use.
What I can bringI have all equipment necessary for coaching, including a ball.
