About your soccer coach

With 14 years of soccer experience, my approach blends strategic detailed skill-building, including, but not limited to, mind to muscle connection, body balance, mind focus, reflex and reaction training, decision making, ball control, first touch, receiving, and shooting accuracy. Within time, we can progress into role and basic game tactics to translate your ball mechanics into real play. This will all take place with a fostering, supportive, and fun learning environment, making your learning experience with me as a confident choice to take you to the next levels. You will be trained to be a better soccer player, but an even better person and athlete.

Your first lessonFoundations & Confidence Building Goal: Introduce the ball, build comfort, confidence, and basic coordination. Focus Areas • Ball familiarity & comfort • Basic coordination, balance, and reaction • Simple decision-making with the ball Session Breakdown 1. Dynamic Warm-Up Light jogging, skips, lateral shuffles, ankle mobility, balance holds (single-leg). 2. Ball Familiarity & Touches • Inside & outside foot touches • Sole rolls and toe taps • Knee touches → controlled drops • Basic juggling progression (bounce → catch → touch) Emphasis: Relaxed touches, posture, eye-up awareness. 3. Movement With the Ball • Dribble in open space • Change of direction (cones, angles) • Slow → moderate speed progression Emphasis: Control before speed. 4. Intro Passing & Shooting • Short passes (inside foot) • Stationary shooting technique (plant foot, balance) 5. Working with kidsWhen working with kids, I adapt my lessons to be fun, positive, and easy to understand while building strong foundational skills. Sessions are slower-paced and highly structured, focusing on basic ball control, coordination, balance, and confidence using age-appropriate games and simple drills. I emphasize repetition, encouragement, and clear demonstrations to help young players develop comfort with the ball while keeping their energy and interest high. My goal is to create a supportive environment where kids feel confident, engaged, and excited to learn soccer.

Working with teenagersWhen working with teenagers, I adapt my lessons to be more focused, challenging, and skill-driven while still maintaining a supportive environment. I emphasize mechanical development such as ball control, first touch, shooting, passing, sprinting with the ball, change of direction, balance, and reaction time. As players progress, I introduce decision-making and basic tactical awareness through realistic drills and game-like scenarios. I encourage accountability, confidence, and consistency to help teens improve their technical ability, game sense, and overall performance.
