Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by introducing the player to the basics—how to warm up properly, how to pass and receive the ball, and simple dribbling drills. The first lesson is about making them comfortable, building confidence, and keeping it fun. I also explain the rules of the game in simple terms.
Lesson 11+At this stage, beginners focus on consistency, advanced ball control (turns, first touch, juggling), tactical awareness, and playing full scrimmages. They learn to apply their skills in game situations, build confidence under pressure, and develop teamwork and leadership on the field.
Lesson 4-10During these lessons, players work on improving their dribbling speed, stronger passes, accurate shooting, and simple attacking/defending strategies. We practice small-sided games to build real-game awareness, communication, and decision-making. Fitness, stamina, and discipline are also emphasized.
Lesson 2-3Beginners can expect to practice more ball control, short passing, and movement with and without the ball. I introduce basic shooting drills and simple defensive positioning. These lessons focus on repetition, teamwork, and understanding space on the field.
