Beginner training plan
Your first lessonObjective: Introduce basic skills and create a fun, engaging environment. Warm-Up (10 minutes) Fun games like “Red Light, Green Light” to get them moving. Skill Development (20 minutes) Dribbling: Use cones to create a simple obstacle course. Passing: Pair up and practice short passes. Fun Activity (15 minutes) “Sharks and Minnows” to practice dribbling under pressure. Cool Down (5 minutes) Light stretching and a fun team cheer.
Lesson 11+Objective: Refine advanced skills and develop game strategy. Warm-Up (10 minutes) High-intensity dynamic stretches and ball work. Skill Development (30 minutes) Dribbling: High-speed dribbling and 1v1 situations. Passing: Complex passing patterns and long passes. Shooting: Finishing drills under pressure. Tactical Drills (30 minutes) Team formations and strategies. Set-piece practice (corners, free kicks). Full-Sided Game (20 minutes) 7v7 or 11v11 game to implement tactics and strategies. Cool Down (10 minutes) Comprehensive stretching and a team discussion.
