About your soccer coach
I am a FIFA Guardianes certified Agent. A global initiative that teaches the prevention for Bullying, grooming and abuse in the sport. As a former D1 Varsity Scholarship player for Denver University in 1984 and part of the San Diego Stars in 1987 and Semi Pro player for the LA Soccer Club at the Budweiser League in 1989. I have played in the local leagues in Los Cabos México, Jamaica, Panamá and served as coached youth and adult teams. With 45 years on the field, my passion for soccer extends to helping players of all levels refine their skills. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAs a former D1 Varsity and Semi Pro player and having coached boys and girls as well as youth from all skill levels, We will meet and talk about your objectives first and have some drills to see your actual level and create a plan from there. My goal is to make this a custom training activity according to your level, that can develop into an advanced program that can help you stand out.
Lesson 11+From here on you will be looking at strategy, body strengthening and advanced injury prevention, as well as looking for opportunities to showcase your skills with local teams and tournaments.
Lesson 4-10As we progress with your ball control, passing and movements with out the ball, you will start to see considerable advancements that will be noticeable by your peers.
Lesson 2-3On our next sessions you will have homework to help you control and juggle the ball better as well as coordination and movement drills that will help you feel more comfortable on the pitch.
Youth players
Working with kidsI have ample experience with boys and girls, making them feel secure, safe and to have fun with the games and drills
Working with teenagersWorking with teens has a mentoring aspects that sometimes is missed by other coaches. Teens are hungry for results and need to learn how to avoid injuries that can take them away from the game. They will see a lot of improvement.
