Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson, my priority is to evaluate the player’s skills in relation to their age and years of playing experience. This helps me understand where they are in their development and how to structure future lessons to best support their growth. During this session, I will focus on the fundamentals, including: • Dribbling – ball control and movement under pressure • Passing – accuracy, timing, and decision-making
Lesson 11+Tight-Space Dribbling Grids – small boxes with defenders applying pressure, forcing players to shield and change direction. • 1v1 Challenges – encouraging creativity while also learning when to beat a defender vs. when to pass. • First Touch into Space – receiving the ball with purpose (not stopping it dead, but moving into an open lane). • Passing Triangles/1–2 Combinations – practicing quick give-and-go’s with movement off the ball. • Shooting on the Move – finishing after a dribble, a pass, or a quick turn, simulating real game flow.
Lesson 4-10 • Technical: Dribbling, passing, shooting, defending under pressure • Tactical: Positioning, awareness, transitions, small-sided strategy
Lesson 2-3 • Shooting & Finishing • Shooting technique with both feet • Finishing in small-sided situations • Decision-making in front of goal

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen I coach kids, my goal is to make training fun, engaging, and impactful while still keeping it technical and focused on development. I believe players learn best when they’re enjoying the game, so I use creative drills, challenges, and small-sided games that feel exciting but also build real soccer skills.

Working with teenagersWhen coaching teenagers, I focus on keeping training competitive, challenging, and engaging while still making it enjoyable. At this stage, players want to be pushed, so I design sessions that combine high-intensity technical drills with game-like scenarios that sharpen decision-making, positioning, and tactical awareness.

What you need to bring- Hydrating drink’s or water - Cleats - Comfortable clothes for running and stretching - Sun screen recommended but not necessary

What I can bring- I can provide the essential equipment needed for the days training - Complementary snacks (notify me if you have allergies to any food)
