Go over their positions, skill level, and what they need improvement on, and what their strengths are. From there we can start with individual ball skills and partner skills to get comfortable working together and to get more of an understanding of how the player works/their skills level.
Fast pace decision making, defending and attacking on all 3rds of the field. Communication and field vision. High intensity but always practicing ball skills and technique. Your soccer IQ will grow and you’ll see and feel the difference in your abilities.
1v1 drills, individual possession of the ball/technical drills for ball mastery. How well can you keep the ball? How well can you keep possession with your teammates? Ball skills is the half of it, being able to make smart and quick decisions on where to pass and receive the ball is the other half of ball mastery.
More in depth ball skills and passing drills as I believe possession mastery is the key to success from my personal experience from my soccer career. First half will be mainly this, while second half will be more attacking drills such as shooting, corners, and free kicks as no matter your position on the field, these are still just as important to understand.

We’ll start with ball control and technical drills such as ball handling, passing, shooting, and technique. Finishing with some more fun stuff based off of what I see fit or from what the player may want to do as I am also learning about the player.
Dribbling, passing, ball control, accuracy, pace, fitness, and decision making will become natural in all aspects of training, whether it’s intense or not, your brain will always be going faster than your feet. No matter what position of the field you are on, you will understand how to approach each situation, offense or defense, with the correct course of action. You will have a greater understanding of each 3rd of the field along with position numbers and how to play within the formation of your teams choosing. Every moment of training will be focused and also very fun!
Film sessions are allowed as well and be considered a training session if interested!
High intensity ball control, defending technique, fast paced dribbling, and shooting technique. You will get your fitness in, not through me making you run, but by the high intensity gameplay. Realistic drills is where your fitness will matter the most.
At this point we will be training your quick decision making and soccer IQ. How quick can you receive and pass with perfect pace and accuracy?
