About your soccer coach
For over 40 years, I've cultivated a love for soccer in players of all levels. My approach blends time-tested techniques with a modern understanding of the game. I am committed to fostering skill development and passion. I've played for over 50 years and have spent the last ten years coaching U6 through U12 soccer in Rockwall. Before I moved to Dallas in 1989, I coached two years of U8 soccer in Tulsa. My life has been all about this beautiful game, and I want to help your child learn about it, love it, and become the best player they can.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonMy program allows recreational players of pre-competitive ages to train and play with others of comparable skills and abilities. It’s designed to challenge players according to their abilities and help them develop as a soccer player. It’s a great tool in preparing players for competitive soccer. We’ll focus on fundamentals. Introductions to the game, the basis of FUN, and work on simple footwork and passing.
Lesson 11+We’ll begin to work on positioning over the ball, building confidence and skill.
Lesson 4-10I begin to bring in ball skill, footwork and balance drills. Juggling, dribbling and awareness.
Lesson 2-3I continue the focus on fundamentals soccer. Passing, dribbling, and shooting.
Youth players
Working with kidsThe game is all about fun, first and foremost. I foster a love for the game. I coach in a fun, loose atmosphere that encourages a child to want to learn the basic skills and fundamentals necessary to become a great player.
Working with teenagersI find that a lot of teen players lack sense for the ball. I teach position awareness, responsibility in their respective positions and tactical situations.
What you need to bringProper soccer shoes for outdoor firm ground use, water, shinguards. A willingness to learn this amazing game.
What I can bringSoccer balls, agility poles, scrimmage jerseys, cones and disc pylons.
