Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first session focuses on building comfort, understanding, and trust. I start with a short conversation to learn about the athlete’s experience, goals, and any concerns. Then, we do a warm-up and simple evaluation drills to assess fundamentals like stance, grip, coordination, and mechanics.
Lesson 11+These lessons emphasize mastery, confidence, and adaptability. Athletes begin performing independently, analyzing their own technique, and learning how to self-correct. The focus shifts from “learning the skill” to “owning the skill.”
Lesson 4-10By this stage, athletes are ready for more challenging drills and live or game-like situations. We refine technique under pressure and introduce strategy, situational awareness, and consistency through repetition.
Lesson 2-3These sessions reinforce proper fundamentals and start building muscle memory. We’ll begin adding controlled reps and introducing rhythm, timing, and coordination. Focus stays on consistent technique and positive habits.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first session with an advanced athlete focuses on evaluation and fine-tuning. I start by observing their mechanics, decision-making, and consistency under light pressure. We discuss goals, areas of frustration, and what separates “good” from “elite” in their performance.
Lesson 11+These sessions are about mastery and mental dominance. We refine the athlete’s personal routine, competitive mindset, and leadership qualities. Training is individualized — built around maintaining sharpness, avoiding plateaus, and preparing for peak performance.
Lesson 4-10By this stage, athletes are executing consistently under pressure. Training shifts toward performance-level intensity with competitive, scenario-based work. Focus is on adaptability, anticipation, and game IQ.
Lesson 2-3These sessions build on the evaluation by targeting specific adjustments. We focus on refining technique, improving efficiency, and introducing advanced movement patterns. Sessions are intense, high-rep, and feedback-driven.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen working with kids, my goal is to make every lesson fun, positive, and full of encouragement. I keep drills simple, engaging, and focused on building confidence and fundamentals through repetition and games. I emphasize effort, attitude, and teamwork while celebrating small victories.
