Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe start with water safety, and some pop-up drills on the beach. We then move out into the water where I guide you into catching your first waves in the white water.
Lesson 2-3We focus on paddling techniques, surfing etiquette and start to learn about wave dynamics, currents and improve our pop-up technique.
Lesson 4-10We get more in depth learning about wave dynamics, the currents and tides that affect the waves. We improve our paddling technique and begin to catch the open face of the wave and to turn and ride the wave sideways.
Lesson 11+We improve paddling and wave selection skills. Focus on a strong understanding of wave characteristics and ocean conditions affecting the waves. We practice turning and riding the wave sideways.

Your first lessonLesson tailored to student ability level. We focus on skills necessary to improve performance in the water.
What you need to bringI provide everything you need including boards and wetsuits. I have extra sunblock if you forget yours at home😊🏄♂️
