Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI'll have no expectations, and no matter the age I'll be getting in the water and leading by example that swimming can be fun no matter the age or skill level.
Lesson 11+While I'll always be in the water and participating, we'll be putting all of the individual skills that we've been building together and I'll be looking for specifics to work on such as breathing while swimming or another swimming stroke.
Lesson 4-10Working on arms drills, while still doing time efficient practice on core skills such as kicking.
Lesson 2-3Simple and straight forward drills from boring bubbles to kicking. A focus on doing one step repeatedly to gain familiarly and skills, for example bubbles will lead to breath holding and kicking can be done maybe different ways to reinforce necessary skills.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonSwimming together. I'll gladly coach from the pool deck to review stroke technique and form, but no matter the lesson, I'll be happily getting in and leading by example.
Lesson 11+Anything else needed to help excel at competitive swimming. Could work on specific training programs such as triathlon or distance events, or just focusing on swimming as fast as possible through proper technique and practice.
Lesson 4-10Working on multiple b strokes or advanced techniques such as flip turns.
Lesson 2-3Drills will always be a focus, at first we will start with general his technique drills, then more focused ones based on need, such as breathing, arms or kicking based.

Youth players
Working with kidsAs a parent of young toddlers I love instilling the basics of swimming at a young age through games and fun. I'll treat all individuals the way I would want to be treated which is with respect and without pressure. I'm happy to help all ages and skill levels while keeping safety and comfort in mind.

Working with teenagersOpen communication and flexibility. If/when there is a game/drill/activity/set that excites interest in the sport, that should be nurtured and repeated and then built upon. I'll promote positivity and of course leading by participating as often as warranted.

What you need to bringSwim suit and goggles, all ages are suggested to bring/try goggles but it's not required.

What I can bringFor young kids I will have age appropriate toys and kid friendly kick board.
