Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will mainly be focused on assessing the skills level of the players and identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
Lesson 2-3Discuss short and long term goals and how they can be reached. Focus on fundamentals to build a strong base that can be worked on.
Lesson 4-10Once fundamentals have been adequately learned, the lesson will shift towards working on and improving specific weaknesses and techniques on the court.
Lesson 11+Players will slowly grow their skills on the court as lessons progress. If fundamentals have been well developed by this point, the lessons can start to move towards real game play and in game scenarios.
Youth players
Working with kidsLessons for kids will be mostly focus on learning basic techniques such as proper forehand and back hand techniques, proper footwork on the court and basic serve technique.
Working with teenagersBased on the current level of the player, the lessons will either focus on building fundamentals and learning the basics or if the player has past experience they will focus on building their game and working on real game scenarios
