Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn the first lesson, I focus on making the student feel comfortable and confident by introducing the basic strokes through simple, fun drills that build coordination and familiarity with the racket. My goal is to create an encouraging environment where they can enjoy learning the game while building a solid foundation.
Lesson 4-10In lessons 4–10, I shift focus toward developing control, consistency, and strategy through structured point play, movement drills, and situational games. As their skills improve, I introduce topspin, volleys, and more advanced serves, always emphasizing proper technique, footwork, and match awareness to prepare them for real gameplay.
Lesson 2-3In lessons 2–3, I reinforce the fundamentals—especially grip, footwork, and swing mechanics—while introducing consistency through controlled rally drills and basic serve technique. I tailor each session to their progress, gradually increasing difficulty while keeping it engaging and fun!
Youth players
Working with kidsI strive to make lessons with kids an engaging, educational, and fun experience! I drill fundamentals, work on hand-eye coordination, but most of all ensure that they have a great time and try to share the love of tennis that I have with them.
What you need to bringA racket, LOTS of water (it’s hot on a tennis court in the summer), and an eagerness to learn!
