i never really had an interest in the sport until my friends did, i started to learn the game later on in my life. what could easily have turned into a frustrating experience was made not only educational but fun. Josh used his knowledge to pick up on aspects of tennis that were hard for me to learn and found relatable and fun ways to teach it to me. i never felt rushed or like he was frustrated with me. he was beyond patient and would happily do back to the basics with me when i got frustrated with myself. not only did he teach me to become a better tennis player through the many lessons we had, but he also taught me how to become easier on myself and more patience. he carries himself like a truly passionate athlete and advocate for the sport. not only does he aspire to teach others the love he has for tennis, but he also coaches them on how to learn patience, grace, and humility. whenever i have friends who are trying to learn how to play tennis, i almost certainly send them his way.

I thoroughly enjoyed learning tennis from Josh. He is very patient and encouraging. He is very knowledgeable in the sport and makes learning new skills fun. He focuses on technique and strategy so that you know how to be better even when he’s not in front of you. As someone who picked up tennis in adulthood, I would highly recommend Josh to anyone looking to pick up the sport for the first time or just improve their skill level!

Josh was a fantastic tennis coach! I had never learned tennis before I started, and he was super patient and attentive to what I needed to be better and learn the skills I needed. I can now hit consistent groundstrokes and I never thought I’d be able to do any kind of tennis skills at this age. Had it not have been for Josh, I would absolutely not have been able to learn what I know now. I’m so thankful for him and his coaching!!!
What you need to bringAll you would need to bring is a tennis racket and a water bottle and we can get started!
What I can bringIf you are truly a beginner and do not have your own racket yet I have extras I can bring for you to use. In addition I have tennis balls, throw down lines, and anything else needed to help you learn the game.
