Passionate music educator and versatile violinist with over 25 years of experience. After graduating from Lawrence Conservatory of Music, my journey spans classical roots to exploring genres like Irish and Scottish fiddle music. For the past 8+ years, I've shared my love for music through teaching and performance, aiming to build strong foundations for my students and ignite joy in every musical endeavor. What you need to bringYou will need your own violin, bow, shoulder rest, case, rosin, and other standard parts of a violin set up. I’m more than happy to help through this process! For normal lessons, you’ll need your violin and set up, music books (if applicable which we’ll discuss), and a pencil. Comfortable clothes which you can move your arms easily in, clipped fingernails, and hair out of your face are also important.
What I can bringI can provide recommendations and guidance in purchasing or renting a violin set up, which you will need to purchase on your own, and I will provide or recommend music books depending on your interests, level, and goals.
