Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI start by getting to know the student—how they learn, their goals, and any prior musical experience. Then we cover posture, how to hold the violin and bow, and make our first simple sounds. I keep it relaxed and fun so they leave feeling confident.
Lesson 11+We build on all core skills—better tone, intonation, and musical expression. Students learn longer pieces, new scales, and more bowing styles. At this stage they start sounding more confident and “violin-like,” with lessons tailored to their goals.
Lesson 4-10We work on smoother bow control, clearer intonation, and reading beginner-level music. Students start learning a few real pieces, basic rhythms, and simple scales. Progress feels more noticeable here as technique becomes steadier.

Advanced training plan
