Your first lessonWe cover the basics of passing. Passing is the most important skill for beginning players.
Lesson 11+Full game play with in play rules and strategies.
Lesson 4-10Review passing and add hitting and blocking concepts. If you additional players are available, we add team concepts.
Lesson 2-3Continue to teach passing and introduce setting and serving techniques.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAssess the players current skill level and identify the players training goals.
Lesson 11+Test integration of the skills smoothly into game play.
Lesson 4-10Expand on fundamentals from basics to advance skills based on player level.
Lesson 2-3Targeted instruction and drills to improve skills to reach the goals.
Youth players
Working with teenagersMy goal is to meet players where they are today. I work to understand their maturity and skill level, guiding them through skills development. My goals is to help them to understand their struggles are not unique and the skills can be mastered.
