Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWith a beginner, I focus on the core mechanics of the game; serving, passing/setting, & hitting. In the first lesson I will teach the two foundational mechanics, passing and hitting.
Lesson 11+With lessons 11+ I will be deeply familiar with what the athlete’s strengths and weaknesses are. Therefore my lesson plans will be to maximize their strengths and strengthen their weaknesses to produce a holistic volleyball athlete.
Lesson 4-10During lessons 4-10 we will take a deeper focus on each mechanic and address any bad habits that have been formed. This is meant to elevate and set apart the athlete in every aspect of the game.
Lesson 2-3During the second lesson I will address serving; how to serve and what technic to use based on age and skill level. During the third lesson I will provide a holistic lesson of all three mechanics.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonI will address what the player wants to work on. Whether positional work, mechanical development, positioning, etc.. I will cater my first session to the athlete as they already have some skills developed.
Lesson 11+In lessons past this mark I will bring in some college-level players to give the athlete real-time reps against actual players. I believe in doing this the athlete’s confidence and motivation will grow exponentially.
Lesson 4-10Based on previous lessons we will take more time addressing weaknesses and preparing the athlete for the next level of their volleyball careers whether it’s high school, club, college, or beyond.
Lesson 2-3In these lessons we will run through some college-level drills based on their particular position. These are made to correct bad-habits and develop strong muscle memory in the athlete.

Youth players
Working with kidsAt young ages focusing on the holistic athlete is key, not just a certain individual aspect of the game. I adapt my drills to be fun and engaging while also creating muscle memory habits that I’ve used throughout my career.

Working with teenagersWhen working with teenagers, I adapt my plans to focus both holistically on the athlete but also on their respective positions; setter, hitter, libero, etc… Providing individualized lessons for the person, not just the position.

What you need to bringJust themselves and any usual gear they would wear when they play i.e. shoes, kneepads, elbow pads

What I can bringI will provide everything needed for the particular skills taught during the lesson!
