With over 30 years of experience in sports, including 17 years as a professional basketball player in Europe (2008–2025). I bring a lifelong passion for the game and a commitment to developing the next generation of athletes. My coaching philosophy is rooted in fundamentals: skill development, speed, agility, teamwork, and cultivating a true appreciation for the sport. Competing internationally exposed me to high-level training and diverse basketball cultures, lessons I now share with my athletes. As a retired athlete, I’m excited to shift my focus to mentoring players of all ages from children just discovering the game to teenagers refining their skills, and even adults seeking athletic training. Whether you’re brand-new to basketball, unsure where to start, or simply eager to grow, I’m here to guide both athletes and parents through the journey. Basketball gave me the opportunity to grow, compete, and connect across cultures. Now, my mission is to create that same sense of growth and inspiration for others.

I’m Coach Denzel Jones, founder of Hoop Dynasty, with over 10 years of basketball coaching and player development experience. I’ve coached more than 60 teams and helped numerous athletes earn college scholarships through personalized skill training and discipline. My approach focuses on meeting each player where they are — whether they’re just starting or preparing for high-level competition. I specialize in ball handling, shooting form, footwork, core and leg strength, and game IQ. Helping people is my passion, and basketball is one of the opportunities I have to pursue this passion. The game is for the players, they deserve the opportunity to lead and have fun. My job is to motivate, guide, and instill confidence. Lessons will focus on skill fundamentals and decision-making/game-like atmospheres.
