My coaching style blends technical expertise with a fun, supportive environment that fosters growth and a true love of the game. I will tailor a training program that will improve the skills that need the most improvement. I have years of experience playing basketball since I was a child throughout high school and intramurally in college. I have been a basketball trainer for 5 years as I have taken on clients who want to improve in forest hills league from an Asian community as well as any players who would like to improve. I specialize in plyometric training exercises that improve vertical jumping, speed and quickness. I focus on good diet, recovery, consistency, and fundamentals with all of my basketball training clients. I train first in fundamentals, then move on to simulate in-game situations, and finally scrimmages or pickup games. My playing expertise in basketball combined with my passion and fundamentals in teaching will make me an excellent trainer. Let's connect and discuss your basketball journey!
"I met Jason while playing pickup ball. He immediately impressed me. I asked him if he could show me some of his techniques that were impressive. I proceeded to take lessons from him afterwards.

Justin Wesley is a former Division I athlete at The University of Kansas, where he played From 2010-2014 as part of one of college basketball's storied programs under coach Bill Self.
"Coach Justin completely changed the way I approached preparation and discipline. He emphasized film study, conditioning, and attention to detail, which helped me become a smarter player and earn more opportunities on the court.
Born in China and I came to the US when I was 15. I joined local swim team in Beijing when I was 7, I won 6 first place in regional competition when I was 12. I started playing basketball at 13, at the same time, I was recommended by middle school coach to run track, 100 meter, 200 meter, 300 hurdle, 4x100 and 4x400. In 2018 I was in the state meet competing. I was not the most physically gifted runner so I had to study the forms, techniques. I love the game of basketball and I experienced basketball from both cultures. I played JV in middle school and Varsity in High school, I played shooting guard position. Being not the most physically gifted, I had to work extra hard on my skills, understanding the game. I truly believe coaching track, swimming, basketball or any sports is bigger/more than just teaching youngsters the skills, itβs about life, lessons we learn from playing sports, spending time and energy to understand each other and one self. With 14 years of basketball instruction, I cultivate skills and passion on the court. I provide tailored coaching and unlock player potential through expert guidance and personalized training. I foster a positive and focused environment.

I've spent 12+ years playing professional basketball across 9 countries β Serbia, Italy, Israel, Argentina, and beyond. That experience is what I bring into every session I coach. As a Nike World Basketball Festival head coach and NYC grassroots leader, I've developed players at every level, from first-timers to college prospects. I tailor every lesson to your game, your goals, and your pace. My philosophy: confidence, consistency, and culture. Ready to elevate your game? Let's get to work.
