An accomplished music educator & band leader with 20+ years of experience in higher education & performance. Worked as an alternate clarinetist with the Houston Symphony Orchestra & second clarinetist with the Galveston Symphony Orchestra and the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra. Served as band leader/manager for three performing groups of my own. Also taught at Houston Community College. (Clarinet, chamber music, music theory & class piano) Currently serve as Artistic Director for the Houston Balalaika Society Orchestra. My teaching ability is enriched by all of these experiences and nothing brings me greater joy than helping someone learn to play or improve on their instrument.
